Disconnecting it, removing panels and racking, protecting the wiring and reconnecting everything afterward should be done by people who understand both the electrical and the mechanical side. Our licensed electricians shut the system down safely, label and protect components, and bring it back online properly when the new roof is finished.
How the Process Works
First, we inspect your system and coordinate timing with your roofer. On removal day we safely shut down and disconnect the array, then remove the panels and racking and store them carefully. After the new roof is on, we install new attachments and reinstall the racking, remount the panels, reconnect the wiring and test the system to confirm it's producing as it should.
A Good Time for Upgrades

When should I call you about a re-roof?
As soon as you're planning a new roof. Early contact lets us coordinate with your roofer so the panels come off and go back on with as little downtime as possible.
Will you remove panels another company installed?
Yes. We remove and reinstall solar systems regardless of who originally installed them.
Can I make changes while the panels are down?
