Get To Know Us!
My name is Robert, owner of Sunlight Electric. I’ve been an electrician since 2002, and have since done multiple types of electrical service work including residential, commercial, industrial, new construction, service, data and communication installation, and large solar fields. I started Sunlight Electric for a few reasons, a big reason is to be closer to my family. Being a union electrician often involved traveling all around the region, and staying in hotels for weeks at a time. While my trade has allowed me to be a great provider, I knew I needed a change.
Going local has allowed me to be there to tuck my kids in at night, and wake up next to my beautiful wife. I am one blessed guy, and I am privileged to be able to service the Idaho Falls community for all electrical maintenance & service needs. I believe we are filling a much-needed gap within the green energy market, including solar panel installation and electric vehicle charging.

A Trusted Idaho Electrician Since 2002
Sunlight Electric has served clients of all kinds, both residential and commercial. If you are located in the Southeastern Idaho area, we would love to be your future electricians, and are willing to take on any challenges you may be facing!
Our core values:
- Quality service
- Timely responses
- Reasonable & transparent pricing
People Need Help & I Like To Help People!
I keep hearing the same thing, "I have been trying to find an electrician for a while and no one will call me back.“ I enjoy helping people. I like the challenge of trying to fix something that someone else could not figure out how to fix. Not everyone wants to take on a headache job, but I will. Mainly because, people need help, and I like to help people.
